Bigger Butt Secrets: 5 Important Hormones for Butt Growth You Must Know About

If you’ve already gone through the hormonal hell that was puberty, you probably already know that hormones have something to do with making your butt bigger.

But it’s more than that – certain hormones play a part in not just the shape of your butt, but your breasts and the overall feminine curves of your body. Usually, only one or two hormones are emphasized as being responsible for breast development or butt growth, but the truth is that it is the combination and interplay of various hormones that are responsible for creating those female curves we all want.

These various hormones regulate sexual maturity and development, the ability to reproduce, and overall – these feminine hormones dictate womanhood.

Read on below for the 5 most important hormones involved with growing a bigger butt.

Estrogen

Estrogen is probably the first hormone that comes to mind when you think about female curves. That’s no surprise since it is the main sex hormone in women and the hormone most responsible for the development of secondary sexual characteristics, such as the breasts, bigger and wider hips, and an increased amount of body fat on the butt, thighs and hip region. Estrogen stimulates both breast and hip development as well as fat distribution among these areas.

Estrogen is largely produced by the ovaries, or female gonads – which is how Bovine Ovary supplements stimulate estrogen production and thus, butt growth. During pregnancy, the placenta also produces it.

Estrogen is actually not a single hormone – it’s a group of similar hormones. The most well-known of these estrogen hormones are estrone, estradiol, and estriol. These hormones are produced in high amounts every month during the Follicular Phase of your menstrual period (see chart below).

Estradiol is the strongest estrogen hormone and it is the one found in the root of the Pueraria Mirifica plant in the form of miroestrol and deoxyestrol. Pueraria Mirifica contains the most potent phytoestrogens (plant estrogens) found naturally, which is how it is able to stimulate breast and butt growth. Estrogen is mostly produced in the ovaries, which is why Bovine Ovary pills are able to stimulate the production of these natural hormones in our body, leading to breast and butt enlargement. Read more about how Bovine Ovary increases butt growth here.

Progesterone

Progesterone cooperates with estrogen to maintain female reproductive health and develop female sex characteristics. This hormone is highest in a woman’s body during the Luteal phase of the menstrual cycle (see chart below).

While estrogen is hugely responsible for storing fat around your butt, thighs, and hip region, progesterone is more responsible for producing curves on top (your breasts).

Progesterone is a tricky hormone for butt growth, since it is useful for keeping fat off your waist (part of the deal for a curvier body) but also plays a part in keeping fat off your bum (deal breaker!)

Testosterone

Testosterone is mostly known as a male hormone and belongs to a group of male hormones called androgens. These hormones are also produced by the female body – although in much smaller amounts – and are necessary for strong muscles and a healthy sex drive. However, having an excess of testosterone in your body can really block both butt and breast growth.

If you’ve been trying to increase your butt size for a long time with no luck, it may have to do with excess androgens in your body. Consider adding an anti-androgen to your diet.

Prolactin

Prolactin is a hormone made by the pituitary gland and is the main cause of that fullness you feel in your breasts during the first few days of your period.

Prolactin is a hormone that is more important for breast growth than butt growth. If you are taking herbs and you want the extra estrogen to go to your bum instead of your breasts, you will need to supplement with an anti-prolactin.

Growth Hormone

Growth hormone is also produced by the pituitary gland. This hormone is super important for butt growth since it is responsible for stimulating the growth of new cells, tissues, organs, muscles (you want some muscles to round your butt), cartilage, and bone.

The bad news is that we produce less and less growth hormone as we age. There are things you can do, however, to increase the release of growth hormone in your body – such as, sleeping before midnight, exercising regularly, and even fasting. Increased estrogen levels also stimulates the release of growth hormone, which then helps estrogen develop female sexual characteristics.

Another easy way to increase growth hormone levels is simply making sure you get enough amino acids – you can do this by eating plenty of complete proteins, adding a great protein powder into your daily diet or supplementing with a complete amino acid pill.
